July 2008. The last time we were together at the Waffle House in Austin, TX. We had just picked up the girls at the airport. Xi'an, Holly, and Tori. Ice and I were on the other side of the booth acting silly. We had fun... they ordered everything on the menu, then we sang on the way back to the house. Of course I sat in the back seat of the car with the girls and acted like a kid ~ but they love that.

ReplyDeleteYes one of my closest friends ever, Holly, her little girl. She really was a sweetie. Her nickname for me was Muffin. lol She knew that I like popcorn and every day she made it for me when I was at their house. haha I HAD to eat some while she sat on my lap and Tori stood next to me. Nice memories with them. She was a good girl.
ReplyDeleteYes I did go to Texas to visit. Also, I considered moving there, had a job would live with them for a while but had family ties with my parents so stayed. No ties now though it could still happen.(?) It really depends on a couple of things here at the moment.
I'm sorry I didn't make it out there like Holly wanted, in the last month, but it wasn't possible just getting back from three weeks in Massachusetts.
